IPOB DEPUTY LEADER, UCHE MEFOR REPLIES OHANEZE PRESIDENT NNIA NWODO.

WE ARE NO LONGER MOVED BY THE LITANY OF LETTER WRITINGS AND NEWSPAPER PUBLICATIONS.

We disagree with Nnia Nwodo's latest deceptive tactics and vehemently oppose those defending Ekweremadu and by extension the political class and the socio-cultural organisation, individuals and groups in that school of thought who are advancing excuses that these leader's have been doing things queitly and behind the scenes. From this weak defence, it is obvious that these leaders are afraid of coming out in the open to defend their people. Leaders who only work in secret and behind the scenes are not leaders. What are the leaders from the East afraid of before their contemporaries from the AREWA North? Why are they not proud to champion the cause of their people in the open and in consistent fashion? We want overt and not covert advocacy! This lily-livered approach by our politicians including Ekweremadu have been responsible for the humiliation and threats to life that our people are facing today from our oppressors.

The excuse by a number of them that they wrote letter on issues and led a delegation once in a while on those issues affecting our people and thereafter went to sleep is a very poor and debilitating excuse which is not enough and at best smacks of unseriousness, lack of political will and docility on their part.

The consequences of these inactions have been responsible for the reason why our people are not respected by our oppressors because they our leaders are not strong willed, they lack the mental toughness and capacity to sustain long a fight for social justice. There is no sustainability, no commitment and certainly no consistency!

This culture of insensitivity is the reason why almost every Igbo politician will always want to publish an article or position paper on an important burning issue (not for continuity) but for the purposes of fronting or calling it up in the future as a defence against accusations of inaction such as what you are seeing now from the likes of Ekweremadu, South East governors and Nnia Nwodo. We to remind them that we all know about those type of games but what about taking up the fight, the causes on a sustainable and consistent basis?

For us, the era of letter writing and newspaper publications without corresponding sustained and sustainable actions has come and gone. This is because that is a perennial weakness in us that our oppressors are exploiting.

Lack ability to commence a cause and see it through is a drawback we are prepared not to condone anymore. For instance, what did Ekweremadu and co do about the killings in Biafraland of Biafran youths, the operation python dances, Fulani herdsmen, the tagging of IPOB as terrorists and same with Nnia Nwodo and South East governors? How many times have we seen them at the EU parliament, British Parliament, American Congress, United Nations protesting these injustices if they are indeed serious about the welfare and security of our people? The same one or two south east governors claiming that they don't know anything about operation python dance were seen flagging off the ill-fated criminal exercise in pictures and therefore, one is forced to ask: what is a sitting governor got to do with operation python dance of the army? Conversely, we saw Nnia Nwodo on a video that started circulating online on 21st August 2019 pledging under oath to Fulani, AREWA NORTH that he, Nwodo, will fight anybody that attacks Fulani Herdsmen in the East. Sadly, as Nwodo was slavishly and subserviently making that pledge to the Fulani, the same Fulani Herdsmen mowed down a woman in Nwodo's backyard, Enugu State and protest was ongoing.

What exactly was Nwodo's rationale and justifications, what must have led this latest betrayal of Igbo Biafran cause in the circumstances? Can you now begin to appreciate the problems we have with these leaders claiming to be representing our people? Do you see, why for us, consistency is the buzzword and sustained action does the magic? We cannot be deceived anymore, we want human face put to these, we want moving images of actions added and not mere letter writing. We want leaders take ownership of leading of the causes against ill treatment of our people. There shall be no respite for any of the representatives of our people who depart from these.

Finally, we reiterate that we have profound respect and regards for our elders but not treacherous, deceitful and stupid ones.

Nnamdi Kanu can't actualise the Biafran dream by instigating attacks on the Igbo elites. This is the bitter truth.

Nnia Nwodo is like a toad squatting, you don't expect him to give you a seat.

And neither will Biafra be actualized without the deliberate and purposive support of their elites who, sadly are not ready

Uche Mefor can only deceive his fellow IPOB miscreants with this statement.

Oh so he wants to blackmail and coerce southeast leaders into supporting IPOB just to massage Nnamdi Kanu's over bloated ego?
Well,dead on arrival.

What is Kanu and Mefor's pedigree? What were they doing to earn a living before bumping into the IPOB idea? What value has Kanu and IPOB added to Igbo land in real terms? If Kanu and Mefor are truly courageous, why aren't they fighting the "oppressors" on Igbo soil? Why run away?
