Re: Green Snake Killed At My Backyard: Help Me Identify The Species (Photos) by Kylekent59: 8:23pm On Aug 26, 2019
Bush snake. I had killed this sp before.

It is harmless and poisonous.

Poisonous means it cannot be eaten

Venomous means it has venom and can kill.

This species of snake feeds on butterfly, toad, bee... etc.

But they can be mistaken for green mamba which is a relation of black mamba.

There is another snake like this they call boomslang, they ain't venomous, but a specie of boomslang was found to be venomous after a man brought it home to show his kids, he had no idea it was a venomous boomslang, it bit him and he felt ill. He later died as a result of heart compartment and paralysis.
