According to the national coordinator of Federal government PEWASH initiative, Mrs. Jummai Umar-Wakasso, “Governor Akeredolu's KAMOMI AKETI initiative is cost effective and community driven.

Mrs. Jummai Umar-Wakasso said that the federal government was spending 400,000 naira to rehabilitate one hand pump borehole, compared to the 81,000 naira being used by ondo state through the Ondo Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA)
