Why is this Sanwo Olu not on the news for developmental thrives like his predecessors, always on the news for unimportant events. Instead of Lagosians to vote for Ambode to continue the great work he was doing but the Agbero state of Nigeria decided to follow their oga tinubu. Sanwo Ole we are watching you.
Because we are in raining season. When we get to dry season, works will start fully. Once the outgoing head didn't support the incoming, the incoming will start from the scratch

That dude has been there since the days of Fashola. Ambode removed him when he came in and he was returned in few weeks( man know man), so this trash won't fly.

All introduction the op dey talk na just less 2yrs, if Ambode no remove his men for road, he won't come up with such, he so so happy with his men jumping at vehicles. Was he not the hachet man for Fashola to promote ridiculous charges for traffic offences. Good riddance

In public service, you should learn to blend your performance with politics. If you use only politics in public service, you'll fail. If you use only performance in public service, you'll fail.

It is this man's stupidity arresting Gokada, Max and Oride bikes that has made Oride, Max Okada and others go as far as Abia, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun and other states.

Lagos is seeking to attract investment and they won't allow one strongheaded technocrat who has never created a single job in his life come and disrupt a burgeoning industry.

Did you read the part where it was said that their continued operation is against the law? So, why make the law in the first place when you know that yu don't intend for it to be obeyed? This is the reason we are where we are today. No respect for laid down rules and regulations, everybody is just flexing muscles.

Have you read the law? I guess not. If you have, you won't be typing this.

The Lagos State Road Traffic Law excludes motorbikes above 200cc from the restrictions placed on normal bikes. Yet, the overzealous official went ahead to arrest them.

He did it cos of greed. He wanted to obtain fines from continuous seizures so that he can add it to the revenue database not minding that the businesses are being taxed to death.

Some people who were praising him in his first year and second year won't agree to what you posted.

Just because Tinubu didn't go with him, they all left him, they will pick any of his short comings and use that a major case why he wasn't given the 2nd term ticket.

These are the same people that praise him ooo, just because Tinubu said no, they all go with him.

I have noticed that since Ambode left, VIO officials have started returning to the roads to continue their wickedness and brazen impunity.
Sanwo Olu should checkmark their activities like Ambode did

Whitewashing this matter is annoying. Toriola has been director since 2007. Is it a life position? He was brought from Fed ministry of works in Abuja to work as Vio Director, what is strange about the new Director? The state traffic law is not binding on bikes over 200cc and that is what gokada capitalised on. Now as to his performance, Toriola did well. I met him in 2007 and he did well for the service. Have you wondered why will anyone take his number plate home after selling his car? To create more revenue for the State. It is only in Lagos that it is done. The Police hqts are angry about the policy because it makes the work of detecting stolen vehicles very difficult. The number plate is the identity of the car and once it is taken off, all records are erased. The cameras on the road, what is the percentage of cars captured? They found out that motorists are using their old plate numbers on their new cars. So if I sold my Toyota car and bought BMW and the camera captures the BMW with a Toyota number, who will be responsible? Because of the policy, number plates are very scarce, prices have gone up, people now buy cars and keep it at home while looking for money to pay for number plate. It has never happened before. Even with the computerized testing centers being manned by them, it is not serving its purpose as you are given the certificate and told to come for test at your convenience. Is revenue a goal or performance of policy? Lagos motor administration is in a mess right now and I wish Fashola, an American trained vehicle inspector the best in putting things right. First thing is for him to abolish taking away the number plate after selling your car. In mvaa price list, the cost of change of ownership is 10k white for new plate number is 12k500. Let us support the new boss to ease our stress in motor vehicle administration in Lagos State.

Even though the report from a seeming rogue media outfit had all the trappings of a sponsored campaign, the highlighted part got my attention. I mean it beggars logic to imagine that Lagos State will promulgate a law that will among others;
1. Restrain/constrain investors in the transportation sector
2. Deny Lagos of potential sustainable taxable income
3. Contradict itself, because to the best of my knowledge non of these coys use below 200cc bikes
