Your comment shows you're part of Atiku's friends he's talking about. grin

Resurgent2016:
I am not sure why many Nigerians saw more sense keeping this refinery as a loss making asset rather than selling it.

The money lost per year can well fund the healthcare & education sector sectors for some states.

Spending 100s of billions in repairs and other expenses on a refinery that we know will no provide any meaningful returns in day light corruption. Many contractors are feeding fat getting contracts for a refinery that is moribund.

Its a shame many Nigerians were beclouded by the BMC gang to believe Atiku's solution was not viable.

Madridguy and the likes will the rotten BBQ seller will answer to God one day for short selling the country for God knows how much.

Have you also wondered how much it will cost to build a spanking new refinery? How much has NNPC spent on importing fuel since this administration started? Is it not an irony that a country that sells crude oil every month cannot have a functional refinery? Just watch as the Buhari voltrons avoid this thread.

Buhari gifted his cronies and possibly himself 77bn within just six months and you're still talking Atiku. Your conscience is gone.

Was Atiku right about NNPC?
These losses are too high

Lalasticlala

The primary aim of government in business is service not profit.

One question, the N77bn loss is to whom?

Admitted, Nigerians have sworn that this country will never work.

But that doesn't mean elsewhere government doesn't run oil companies successfully.

Have you heard of China National Petroleum Company?

How about Saudi Aramco?

These are state-run multimillion-dollar oil behemoths.

I just pity the generation that will come after us because we just loot resources and don't keep anything for them.

As a matter of fact, we have a lot explaining to do.

If as the 6th highest producer of crude oil, we don't have functional refineries and we are still the world's poverty capital, then Nigeria has no business existing as a country!

It needs to be recolonized!

Any time corruption in NNPC under PMB is mentioned, I remember Ms Kemi Adeosun who was shown the way out of govt for having the effrontery to question non-remittances of some monies by NNPC. Well, Baba is using the NNPC to settle his Northern brothers.

China and Saudi Arabia are not exactly models of developed countries in the international community.
Moreover, they don't have a society that is as fragmented by ethnicity and religion as we do. Or do they

Investigation is more necessary now than mere Audit. I agree with you that they're all thieves. That's the reason why investigation will cover The Presidency (source of the Orders to do work), EFCC (Tools of Actions, Interactions and Movements of planning and control, as Government aiki-soldier), NNPC(the source of Government funds) and CBN(the Store and Distributors of all Government funds).
