Xenophobia: Multichoice Nigeria Condemns Attacks On Nigerians In South Africa by Ravon: 4:02pm On Sep 03, 2019
Multichoice Nigeria, Africa’s leading entertainment provider, on Tuesday condemned the xenophobic attack on foreigners in South Africa.

“MultiChoice is committed to uniting Africans through our programming and cultural initiatives. We advocate equality and condemn all forms of discrimination. The on-going violence in South Africa against foreign nationals is against the spirit of Africa, and counter-productive to the decades of work done by African leaders and well-meaning organisations to unite the continent.", John Ugbe, Chief Executive Officer of Multichoice Nigeria said in a statement.

The statement reads further,

"We are a proudly African company and although our story began in South Africa, today we represent the African continent in all its diversity through our presence across the region."

"We embrace and celebrate the diversity of varied nationalities, traditions, cultures and religions from across the continent and beyond. This is demonstrated through our multinational staff complement, our multicultural supply chain, as well as the local and international content that we showcase on both our DStv and GOtv platforms."

"We believe Africa’s full potential can only be realised through dialogue, peace, and unity. This is a sombre period for every African on the continent and beyond, and we urge all our customers, followers, and stakeholders to shun violence.”

I know some Nigerian IQ is below zero .
But know this
They attack Nigerians in South Africa
We attack Nigerians in Nigeria because they are the ones working in shoprite/multichoice/dstv/mtn not south Africans.

What the govt is to do is just shut it down, that way the Nigerian there will be safe. Let's not score own goal in the name of reprisal attack.

A handicapped country like Nigeria that has no alternatives to dstv, gotv and whose high ranking govt official received a #500bn from mtn, whose citizens see shoprite as 'paradise'(some are there now) cannot revenge this #Xenophobia. #nigGovtdoesnothing

We have not heard any comment from Julius Malema, condemning such violent actions against Nigerians and other African nationals.
I can see reasons why the white SA are screwing them (blacks) up.

Modified:I have heard and seen some of his videos condemning attacks on foreign nationals by his SA people. Kudos to him!

Awon alabosi oshi

Because they've seen what has happened to ShopRite in lekki they're pretending to be on nigerias side so Nigerians don't commit arson with them

Anyone that believes this fake phony, sychophantic loyalty is not normal

All of a sudden they can talk about one Africa.as a matter of fact no one can fool me with this shii because their so called minister of police has openly justified xenophobia and I believe he's the mouth piece of sa.so we all know where they stand.he should stop acting

The best thing is for all Nigerian using mtn to port to other suitable network and ditch Dstv decoders and as well leave shoprite alone

Well I'm not surprised this statement is coming after Nigerians invade shoprite in lekki , because they know nigerians are cool but it takes time for then to unite irrespective of the tribe , and now the time is here where they are starting to unite against the evil deeds on their brothers in the south . Multi choice knows their offices and interests here aren't safe anymore and alas theres a statement from them since the attacks started in south africa . ...
