DIY - I'd say that's a good one. Even though most Nigerians I know would very quickly call and electrician/plumber for the most minor fault. . . . |

I understand a DIY store to be a shop which sells handy house hold tools and quick fixes with which you can fix things around the house withough having to call an electrician/plumber/painter etc. This sort of business thrives abroad due to the high cost of calling in a handyman to look at damages.
