Well, the Americans are negotiating with the Afghan Taliban....and have negotiated with terror groups in the past and present, directly and indirectly.

Israel is probably the only country that mostly does not negotiate with terrorists...and even then, they have engaged indirectly with gropups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

All countries do negotiate with terrorists ....the 'We don't talk to terrotists' schitck is just for politcal optics.
