TOWARDS THE 2020 GUBERNATORIAL ONDO ELECTION; GROUPS MEETS STAKEHOLDERS TO RE-STRATEGISE

In preparation towards the 2020 Gubernatorial Election in Ondo State, the OMG Akure South Local Government arm in a meeting with the group state coordinator Hon Lulu Fawehinmi and the local government coordinator Mr. Adeniyi Sarafa Olawale and other major stakeholders in the group has reiterated their unwavering commitments and strong resolute to ensure the victory of the executive governor of Ondo State in the next gubernatorial election in the state.

In the meeting held on the 19th of September 2019, the group Inspired and encouraged by the various achievements of the Akeredolu led administration in the state which has seen development projects and initiatives reaching across the 18 local government of the state laid much emphasis on the need to sustain the progressive activities of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the state.

The meeting also served as an avenue for the group to lay down it's plans and strategies for it's group members across the state in preparation towards the 2020 election in Ondo State.

The state coordinator, Hon. Lulu Fawehinmi enjoined the group members to be unrelenting in their activities in promoting the good works of the governor especially in the grassroots areas of the state, a view which saw also shared by Hon. Ologunmeta who equally expressed the need for the group to collectively ensure that the grassroots areas of the state are not left out in the plans of the group towards the forthcoming state election.

Also speaking during the meeting, Mr. Adeniyi Sarafa Olawale , the local government coordinator of the group expressed the need for the members to be proactive and intentional in their plans. He explained that more than ever before, the group must ensured that it does not leave no stone unturned in securing the maximum cord needed to ensure the victory of Arakunrin Akeredolu at the polls come 2020.

Adding to this, Mr Seyi, the head of Digitals, OMG urged the members to put in their best regardless of the incentives towards the group's sole aim and objectives.

In the concluding remarks, Hon. Lulu Fawehinmi stated that the group is nobody's properties, thus every member should have a sense of belonging, as the group is governor's structure which is not only meant for political mobilization but also the empowerment of the youths and ensuring the 10% participation of youth in the state.

He also added that there will be a continuous meeting of the group to ensure the continuous growth of the group.
Present at the meeting were Mrs. Modupe Adebo, Coordinators from ward 2,3,4,5 and 11.
