Abuja is not as safe as it used to be anymore. The police are not even helping matters. They know about these crimes. They want it to happen so you can report and they can extort you without they doing anything about it.

In my presence at about 11- 12 midday 2 ladies were attacked as per along and in a very busy area people took notice that's what saved those ladies

That wuse 2 is something else ..its notorious no part of wuse 2 is safe .The police can't claim to not know this..now it's moving to maitama and asokoro and u know how quiet and dingy those parts can be

It has even extended to Gwarinpa. Burglars in most places over there. The police claims do patrol at night yet these burglars seems to always get away with people's belongings easily

Don't always rely on the statistics of foreign expert. Foreign expert can never rate Nigeria above their own in anything good. Check the list of top corrupted countries in the world and see where Switzerland, UK, USA where our corrupt elites keep their money is being placed.

You are absolutely correct. All robbery in Abuja have some security connivance. Car jacking, snatching, one chance are all be carried out at alarming rates daily. This can't be happening so frequently without some level confidence and cover

Abuja is no longer safe as it used to be. One chance robbers, kidnappers, armed robbers, fulani herdsmen loitering around, and burglars.

Buhari has killed and buried Nigeria.

Abuja from 1990-2008, was far the best place to live; to me in the world. It was quiet, calm, can even walk on major roads. Crime was non existent. Population was damn low and security was tighter then than now; again it was smaller then as it was mostly only Lifecamp(diplomats mostly), Asokoro, Maitama, Wuse, Wuse 2, Garki and few other districts.

so at long last, people can now begin to see abuja for what it truely is, and for what we have been letting the largely ignorant inhabitants of that place know that the city is actually a non city, to begin with. no wonder international organizations when talking about cities, only lagos represents Nigeria.

With the rate of one chance activities in Abuja, even Kogi safe pass Abuja

What did you hear about Kogi? Kogi is relatively safe before and after this report about Abuja. What happened and happens during the elections in the state stops there and it is an almost normal thing everywhere else in Nigeria.

you did not follow our discussion from the start. i actually said upon all these crime, yet people still believe abuja is safer and better than lagos. then she said yes, that abuja is a lot safer. then i sarcastically said: she should have added a lot richer too.

don't mind her.

abuja residents like thinking being the capital city means anything. they do not know that places where capital cities are the best places are actually third world countries and for a capital city to be better than the other cities is actually not a good thing! look at the major countries around the world and you will see that the capitals are not the best of all places there.

mean while, abuja should take care if its horrendous traffic from gwags to giri. it is becaoming more like nothing that exists in lagos
