A rather sad report coming from Nollywood indicates that a former child actor, Oluyomi Victoria Olaniyi-Toluwalope (née Adeyemi-Wilson), has died. Olaniyi-Toluwalope came to limelight after starring as the daughter of a character played by actor Olu Jacobs in the NTA detective series, Third Eye. According to reports, she reportedly passed away on Sept. 12, 2019, after battling an undisclosed illness, a condolence page has been opened in her honour. Yomi is known for starring in popular TV series ‘Third Eye’, which aired on NTA in the late 1980s to early 1990s. An ex-student of Queens College, Lagos, Yomi acted as Uze, the daughter who provided Inspector Best Idafa (Olu Jacobs) with clues for solving criminal cases. Her father in real life was Engineer Yomi Adeyemi-Wilson, a track star in the 1960s and 1970s. May her soul rest in peace. When death call so early like this, it leave trail of pain and sorrow but then it remind US the living to remember that NOBODY is taking anything out of this life. We all shld strive to live a good and Godly life with each other. RIP. |
