There was a country.
We have been so unlucky with bad leaders in this part of the world.

We thank God that a New Sheriff is in town.
We are gradually taking back our stolen money from these evil politicians that raped and looted our national treasury.

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime,
And if not our lifetime, we are laying a good future for our kids at this time.

For those that always pray and wish for bad news concerning Nigeria, bad things will not be far from their doorsteps.
No be curse, na fact!

We know them by their quotes and mentions.

God bless Nigeria.
We Rise!

Is this the new Sheriff in town ?

JosEast:

TCN noted that β€œit has recorded less vandalism on its transmission line since termination of the concession agreement as compare to our previous records.” The transmission company said since the termination, it has invested $25m in the fibre optics enhancement on critical lines which the concessionaire failed to provide. While TCN hopes to reach 20,000 megawatts (MW) by 2025 from the present 8,100MW wheeling capacity.

I agree with the fact that we have missed out on achieving a highly efficient grid network, due to the concession companies Phase and Alheri missing their funding agreements to implement the SCADA and EMS projects.

But the heap of the blame should go to the FG either in form of TCN, or the unbundling process of NEPA in 2005. The government saw the early signs of failure of the deal early enough, after the inadequate initial investments by both Phase and Alheri, but didn't act incisively until after over a decade.

Again what is the TCN insinuating, with the claim of reduced vandalisation of Transmission infrastructure after the SCADA contract was repealed.
