He was the head of the team that worked on a very significant chip used by iPhone. He is from Abia state and had his undergraduate education from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

Ibekwe is the head and founder of Zenvus, a leading global tech company, and also a member of the board that select winners for Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program.

Igwemezie is the head of TransGlobim International, the engineering company that the contract was awarded to. The Nigerian engineer received his training in Canada and is well known in the engineering world.
