I use to think like you. I recently discovered that the church is going to go through the great tribulation. We better quit this escape mentality and prepare to endure to the end.

We like to quote that scripture that says we over by the blood of the lamb, and ignore the part that says the overcomers are those that love not their lives unto death.

Indeed the last book is very revealing. History will always repeat itself. Remember the Babylonian empire of one world government and the 3 Hebrews? Their faith was tested in the fiery furnace. Many Israelites bent their knees to Baal. Same as many 'christains' will receive the mark.

Did you notice that the Lord Jesus said if those days where not shorten, no flesh will be saved? We know 7 years won't be shorten according to bible prophecy. So what did he mean? He meant our lives on earth. That's why life expectancy is lower now.

All christians should be prepared to loose their lives if it gets to that point. It's one of the greatest honor in the kingdom into which we are called and belong.

The things happening in the world now is what the Lord called 'beginning of sorrows'.
