The members of the leadership of the Conference of 2019 House of Assembly Candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in South-East has dished out their congratulations to the patron, Chief Chief George Moghalu, who was recently appointed the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was the center piece of the release signed by the leadership of the group, which was made available to the newsmen, and in which they also described Chief Moghalu as a quintessential leader per excellence.
The statement reads in part:
"The leadership and members of the Conference of 2019 South East House of Assembly Candidates, wishes to congratulate our patron, Chief George Muoghalu who has been appointed the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.

"Chief George Moghalu is a detribalised Nigerian and a quintessential leader per excellence who has worked for years to champion unity, progressive governance and to entrench democracy in Nigeria. Chief Muoghalu has also held many positions of leadership in the past and used them to better the lives of young people and Nigerians at large.

"We also wish to thank, His Excellency, President Buhari, for this well thought-out appointment. It is our believe that Chief Muoghalu is qualified for the job and will bring his experience to bear in this new position.

"Congratulations, Chief George Muoghalu! We pledge our support to you and your office. This is just the beginning of greater successes ahead.

Chief Moghalu is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as well as the patron of the Conference of House of Assembly Candidates of the All Progressive Congress in the just concluded 2019 general election. He has also held many positions in the past, until he was recently appointed the NIWA Boss, an appointment which has been described as the best independence day gift to the people of the South-East from President Muhammadu Buhari, who has also appointed reasonable number of Ndi Igbo into the National Service.

Chief Moghalu, ensure that during your tenure one can enter a boat from Port Harcourt to Niger State. No need for road transportation.
