In Israel 58 % of the population say they are either convinced atheists or not religious
That sounds curious when Israel claims to be a Jewish state.

Suprising also when one finds out 20% of Iranians are either convinced atheists or not religious.

Nigeria and Thailand are amongst the most religious countries in the world. Only 2% ( two percent )
of their population say they are not rreligious.

So a jew(by virtue of birth) can be an atheist..

You are actually right...and I was wrong... I just checked it and saw that any descendant of an Israeli can be considered jew....as being jew has a cultural, ethnic, religious, political and genealogical dimension.
