What You Need To Know About PDF Undergraduates, Masters And PhD Scholarship.
The Petroleum Development Fund (PDF) is a body instituted by law, under the Federal Ministry of
Petroleum Resources established for the purpose of developing and promoting education and for
creating the human resource needs of the educational system through research and training of
Nigerians.
Level / Field Of Study:
This scholarship program is provided to Nigerians who have interest in pursuing an Undergraduate,
Masters and PhD degree program in any Nigerian college of education, polytechnic and University
Host Nationality
Scholarship is to be taken in Nigeria.
Eligible Nationality
This scholarship is open to Nigerian students and international students undertaking any
Undergraduate/Post Graduate courses in any of the Nigerian Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and
Universities.

SCHOLARSHIP WORTH[/b]
The scholarship award ranges from N100,000 – N300,000 annually throughout your study year.
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for College of Education Applicants (₦100,000 Annually) — Runs
throughout your Study Year.
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for Polytechnic Applicants (₦150,000 Annually) — Runs throughout
your Study Year.
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for University Applicants (₦200,000 Annually) — Runs throughout
your Study Year.
Masters/Post Graduates Scholarship Award (₦300,000 Annually) — Runs throughout your Study Year.

selection of successful candidates
· Admission for part-time studies shall not be considered for all category of applications
·The scholarship is highly competitive and merit driven. Selection of candidates shall be based on
equitable representation of the 36 States of the Federation and Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or Letter of exemption;

There is nothing like PDF as long as Nigeria is concerned. The agency responsible for this is Petroleum Trust Development Fund(PTDF) and the website is ptdf.gov.ng
I checked the age of pdfscholarship.eu and discoverd it's just been created.
Nigerian government will never create a website with .eu
But incase anyone wants to give it a trial, don't pay a dime and becareful not to fill in your BVN if required as part of Bank details.
But my instinct tells me it's scam.

I hope this is not one of the measures of jobless youths to scam innocent students looking for scholarships.
I can remember how I was scammed of my precious 1600 that I borrowed to apply for one scholarship like that. Painful thing is that it ended up turning a scam.

Wow. I felt like it was scam. I really dont know what's difficult in getting a good skill, and then use it to get money for yourself.

Only for some people to set up a site to scam innocent Nigerian youths. May God help our country

God will punish those guys. As I still proceeded entry my acct details. No mail was sent to me. yet, they have started asking me to pay a sum of 1k for their online exam and #2k for the exam and past questions. And the account name to pay to is: MARTHA OKOTIE. sterling Bank. What a big scammer!

When I saw the advert I was suspicious, so I thought it is wise to first mail the Federal Ministry of Education for clarification but never got a response. Instead, the Ministry went ahead to list it on the Federal Scholarship Boards website.

It's so unfortunate, we have inept people in our ministries. Most of them either bought the job or got it through nepotism or cronyism. Posting a scam advert on government website without first verifying it is so disgraceful. In a sane society, that wouldn't have happened. Till this day, the scam advert is till on the Federal Scholarship Boards website. So many students would have been scammed already. So disheartening!
This is one of the reasons why I already lost hope in the country.
