Reaffirms the fact that blogging in this country has gone to the dogs. I knew it was only a matter of time before this list surfaces here. Whoever put it together must have been on some supplies grin

I mean, look at Speed Darlington! The fact that he's rated as a rapper and then listed here shows the state and intention of the writer.

A parody of a list.

Uzi should be in the top 10.

Dagrin runs circles around Olamiide.
Dagrin revolutionized it and not Olamide.

Dagrin work was really short

If there was no Olamide to continue the work the industry would have been dead.

Wickedness

You deliberately put mochedda at 99 just to further provoke a girl that is already suicidal.

Babe had hits in her days, she doesn't deserve that ridiculous position.

She got better hits than the mode 9 you placed at no.1

This list should have come with "In no particular order" because unnecessary controversy will soon erupt.

Yep... Not to mention that most of them are poorly talented noisemakers hiding behind great beats, with little to no lyrical depths whatsoever.

You won't believe what I just found! These are two of the three pioneer Nigerian rap/reggae (toasting) songs that I've been looking for for ages (one of them was even uploaded by someone I know).

This group was the first Nigerian rap group that made sense to me. They weren't pretending to be Americans, their lyrics actually rhymed and the song was very funky. It'd be a hit if it was released today.

If I remember correctly, they released this song a few months before Junior And Pretty released Monica (which is viewed by many as the first major Nigerian hip hop song). I think that this group was better than Junior And Pretty, but J&P went on to become much more popular.

Emphasis - Which One You Dey (1991).
