Ahead of the November 16 Governorship Election in Bayelsa State, more Appointees of Gov.Seriake Dickson and Chieftains of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have continued to dump the administration and party for the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.

Information Parrot Nigeria gathered that the massive resignation and defection are blamed on the high-handedness of Gov.Dickson and his alleged tyrannical tendencies which led to the emergence of his stooge, Senator Douye Diri as the Guber Candidate of the PDP.

Top among those who have resigned from the Dickson Government and PDP chieftains who have joined the main opposition party include;

1.Chief, Dr. George Fente

2. Former Deputy Governor, Peremobowei Ebebi

3. Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters I, Stephen Diver.

4. Special Adviser on Power Development, Michael Ogiase.

5. Director, Ethics and Compliance, Due Process Bureau, Benjamin Ogbara

6. Special Adviser on Culture, Chief Natus Zebakame

7. Special Adviser on Agriculture, Godspower Ake.

8. Serving Commissioner 1 in the Bayelsa State Local Government Service Commission, Berry Negerese.

9.Special Assistant on Student Affairs, Iniruo Ipogi

10. Special Adviser on ICT Development, Clever Ebede.

11. Mr Ekpo Agbedi, the younger brother to Hon Fred Agbedi.

12. Hon Eddy Brayei, former SA to Governor Dickson on Grassroots mobilize.

13. Chief Benson Dodoru.

14. Chief Sapele Bolougene.

15. Chief Solomon Young.

16. Chief Dickson N Okpokunoun, former  Leader of Ekeremor LGA.

17. Hon Mark Ayoro , former PDP Chairman in Ekeremor LGA.

18. Chief Alfred Benabo.

It is unclear if these usual defections will translate into victory in a state that has been a stronghold of the PDP from 1999 till date.
