There are more than 5 million commuters in Lagos daily. Any mode of transport that can't scale to absorb even 100k passengers daily is eye service and totally useless.

Bring in private investors for the rail lines and set a definitive date for completion.

I should be able to go from Sangotedo to Magodo in less than 30minutesn, return to Sangotedo during the day, visit Badagry and still return to Sangotedo without spending my life in traffic.

I hope governors in the Niger delta region is watching the bold steps that was taken by the Lagos state government in partnership with a foreign company in the USA.

It is a shame that rickety boats is being used to ferry commuters in most riverine communities in Delta state, Bayelsa state, Rivers state etc

yet every month they will receive big Money from federal government , still they make the locals live in hard conditions.

Awesome collaboration between the Lagos State government and Uber. But, they should also look at waterways security too. For instance, like using the Lagos State Neighborhood security to mann every nooks and crannies of the waterways to deter sea pirates from kidnapping passengers. Check my blog at www.securitymattersafrica.com on how to tackle sea pirate. Go to the search engine and search pirate.

Which reminds me of my experience at Oron jetty, felt sorry for those passengers.

Nice one

Good but it's a cumbersome and selective process. A normal ferry line where you walkin and buy your ticket and load.

Where there is honesty and transparency, all this pins and what ain't necessary. How many lagosians have access to smartphones....

There is already. But has not fully commence operation.
