Top Nigeria Made Cars and their Current Prices in 2019.
Nigeria Made Vehicles – Over the decades, our nation had been termed an “Ever Developing Country ” where everything is imported including petty things like toothpicks, pencil even children erasers from neighbouring countries and continents across the globe.
We’d been exploited for our lack of technical know-how and limit in sophistication… Car manufacture did not seem to be a possibility then even though most Nigerians conceived the idea due to our over dependency on other nations but that doesn’t seem to be the case today; at least, there has been a great deal of improvement in our technology and manpower lately. People traveling around, discovering wonders, inventing new ideas and best of all bringing these discoveries home to share and invent for the advancement of our country.
Count down to the late 90s where importation of cars was the order of the day. Car owners flaunted their
tukumbos knowing it wasn’t easy to afford an imported product let alone a car.
Following the automotive policy which was propagated in 2013, the first made in Nigeria car was completed by Nissan in 2014 by multinational companies upon establishing a car assembly plant. A black Nissan Patrol, Almera and
NP300 were manufactured at Lagos in the company’s assembly plant.
With this leading breakthrough, other car manufacturers began to show interest in the manufacture of cars including Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited founded by Nigerian industrialist, Chief Innocent Chukwuma. This auto company is already assembling Made-in-Nigeria cars from Nnewi plant in Anambra State.
Its noteworthy, that some car manufacturing companies have complied with government policies to rid us of locally built or assembled cars and some of these companies include:
1. IVM 6490 A
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company is the very first indigenous car manufacturing company in Nigeria. The company releases the first brand of made in Nigeria car in the last quarter of 2014. It should be noted that the previous cars manufactures were majorly cars assembled by multinational companies.
The IVM 6490 A is an SUV that packs state-of-art facilities and design.

Today, the Almera brand seem to be highly patronized amongst other brands manufactured by Nissan.
With the difference in the height of individual and communal exposure, we’ve recorded a huge amount of advancement in the Nigeria’s automobile companies.
It has become a controversy lately that private bodies seem to be improving the lives of the populace more than the leading officials in our government. We achieved this through the auto policy of the government let’s continue in that tempo towards the increased number of employment for our youths and for posterity.
