I have been thinking about it everybody is busy shouting that we should divide,but what makes you think a divided nigeria will be better than this one.what i see is the bad side,like war,our powers will be divided
Every sector there will be a breach that can't be close.and even try to look at countries that are divided i don't see any benefit in it.We are nigeria we are the ones controlling it..so my question is what are the benefit and what makes u think divided nigeria will be a better place thanks

What was lugard thinking carving people from Niger republic, Chad, Togo, benin republic and move them here as Nigerians.

All these other countries you listed were a French creation. Nigeria was carved up from the great Yoruba state, hausas city states, pagan tribes of middle belt, minority tribes of the delta and igbos semi autonomous villages of south eastern Nigeria

Biafra don't have the resource and knowhow to catapult to anywhere. The east without the oil producing state will be a poorer version of Cameroon.

The far north will suffer without the middle belt because they lack the arable land, educated population, religious tolerance to attract investment and is obviously landlocked.

South south will be the richest nation by far, they will have their 2m barrel oil production to less than 20m people alone. They have reasonable other resource in natural gas, arable land ( Edo, Delta, cross river) and relatively educated workforce.

South west will developed well and we the omoluabi will be a great country where things will finally work

There is no guarantee that a divided Nigeria would work. But guess what? It can’t be worse than the present Nigeria. The present Nigeria is hopeless and has failed in all ramifications. People are aware that dividing Nigeria is a gamble. A GAMBLE, THAT PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT ITS CONSEQUENCES. Whether it works out perfectly or not, it is a better option than lying to oneself about “false unity”. Any which way you choose to see it, it is the right step to be taken.

Ps. Global racism is more likely to be eliminated before Nigeria enjoys unity. Just a mild way of saying “Nigerian unity” is merely a farce and outrightly IMPOSSIBLE from all logical indications

1. There will be mutual respect and cooperation between all the new countries because each of us will have our armies so nobody will mess up

2. The decision makers will be closer to the masses so they will be more afraid to mess up out of fear

3. There will be resource control and better accountability and prosperity
