Mad Melon, one half of the popular 90s group 'Danfo Drivers' will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The veteran Nigerian singer whose real name was Oghenemaro Emeofa passed away after a brief illness at the Tolu Medical Centre Hospital in Ajegunle, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. He was 42. Mad Melon is survived by his wife and two children. The late singer and his partner who drove a commercial bus to make ends meet were discovered by Cornerstone Music in 2003. Rest on  Do u know that Ali is no longer a boy Simbi is now a mother with two children. Chike is no longer the river boy but he is now a marine engineer. Edet no longer lives in Calabar but has moved to. Canada. Agbo is happily married too and has left the town of Lagoon for London.. Eze no longer goes to school he is now a graduate. Even Mr Salami is no longer a farmer but a politician. Remember Ralia the sugar girl? she now owns one of the biggest sugar factories in Kano. Ade our naughty little brother is now a doctor in one of the biggest hospitals in the country. Wow what a great medium to recall those days of Macmillan English we all had them off hand. GistMore3: He probably died of Hiv/Aids complications as against the tuberculosis as confirmed by the deceased son. The deceased son in an interview said Mad Melon was a chronic cigarette smoker who refused to change from smoking habits despite medical doctors warning.
