Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin ,Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi SAN, has returned to Akure, the state capital today, Friday November 8, 2019 amidst pomp and pegantry.

The visibly happy people of the state trooped out enmass to welcome their governor who has been attending to some official assignments in Abuja, FCT, for some weeks.
While in Abuja, Governor Akeredolu received an award of the African innovative governor of the year.

He also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with medicus International, Germany. The Governor also attended the Nigeria Governors’ Forum meeting and hosted the Southwest Governors’ Forum meeting at the state Lodge, Asokoro Abuja.Arakunrin Akeredolu also attended the monthly National Economic Council Meeting, met with the new country director of the world bank, received the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and some members of the National Working Committee of the APC.

You can't blame them my brother. Arakunrin Akeredolu is a people's Governor. For that few days that he was away, the people have missed him so much, hence the rousing welcome.

When a leader is good, pageantry and ceremony are the least of what we can do as citizens to show appreciation.

Im happy for you to have a governor loved by his people. Learn to separate love from scams. A governor absent himself from his State few days and returned and you trooped out to give him a rally. This kind of nonsense is the tradition in SS and SE....please dont bring that to SW.

Oga, who are the Ondo people that are suffering? I'm an Ondo state civil servant and I'm not suffering. Unlike during the previous administration when workers were being owed, Governor Akeredolu has not owed us a dime. In fact, he has paid the salary arrears owed by the previous administration and the bonuses.

Ondo State is a civil servant state and through the payment of salaries, I can proudly say the governor has improved the state economy.

Even the government can't spoon-fed everyone, Anyone suffering in Ondo State, is either lazy or simply unfortunate.

Yeah... I can attest, I passed good roads in ur state.. I personally told my driver, this guy (governor) of Ondo has really fixed some stuffs. Kudos to him!
