It should be recalled that Senator Binta spent 16yrs in the National Assembly(Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from
June 2015 – June 2019 and Federal House of Representative 1999–2011).She was defeated by Senator Abbo with over 18,000 votes in the last election.
