If you had enough brain cells to read up the Canadian doctors story, you would realise that the increase would mean higher taxes and lower net salary.

It is for a similar reason the Lagos doctors are rejecting this increase.

It's called minimum wage not maximum wage, take it or get a new job... Its not by force, this minimum wage thing is what brought down Gej government, it does not have to be across the board, but the minimum for the least paid person.

I am not a medical doctor but I'm a Lagos State health worker. The minimum wage paid in the month of November to Lagos State civil servants cuts across all sectors and IT IS A SCAM. If you're not in the system, please keep out of this thread. Governor Sanwo-Olu is a SCAM

I can relate with the doctor. Lagos state deducts tax of up to 10% from my salary and I don't even work for Lagos state government!
