The backdrop to this prophecy is that the Anglo-American Empire is currently at the helm of affairs in the world today

NATO IS ROME: The symbol of the old Roman Empire is the Eagle.

Recently, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, otherwise called NATO hosted its 70th year anniversary. The historical preamble is that NATO is an organization that is made of countries that form the old Roman Empire, put more simply, NATO is Rome, and America is the head of NATO, America is Rome. Initially, I thought Israel will be at this gathering of eagles’ event too, but Israel is not part of NATO, however, America and the Israelis are joined at the hips, they are now one. Everything America does has the full backing of the Israelis and also vice versa.

The great city called Sodom and Egypt
Revelation 11:8

It may give us a shock that the Bible describes any city by the names ‘Sodom and Egypt’. Sodom was the city that God destroyed because of its wicked acts at the time of Abraham (Genesis chapter 19). Egypt is the country where God’s people lived as slaves at the time of Moses (Exodus 1:8-14). Therefore, John is describing a city whose inhabitants have chosen to oppose God’s people in a cruel and wicked manner.

It disturbs us even more to think that John could be referring to Jerusalem. John has only just referred to Jerusalem as the ‘holy city’, in verse 2. That was where God’s house, the temple, was. Psalm 48 describes its situation as beautiful, the joy of the whole earth. However, Jerusalem is also a place where many evil acts have happened (Luke 13:33-34). Christ died just outside the city (Hebrews 13:12). Revelation 11:2 describes how, at this time, foreign nations will show great cruelty towards Jerusalem.

However, there are also references to other cities in Revelation 11:8. In the Book of Revelation, ‘the great city’ usually refers to Babylon (14:. Babylon’s army caused Israel’s people to suffer greatly at the time of Jeremiah. However, in the Book of Revelation, Babylon is itself a word-picture for Rome (see Revelation 17:9; Rome stood on 7 hills). Rome was the most powerful city in the world at the time of John. Rome’s government caused God’s people (both Israel’s people and the first Christians) to suffer greatly.

In fact, the city in Revelation 11:8 could even be a word-picture for the whole world. The whole world is responsible for Christ’s death (Romans 3:19; Galatians 3:13-14). In the same manner, the whole world will be responsible for the deaths of the two witnesses. People across the world will be glad at their deaths (verses 9-10).

The Carcase: This dead bodies of men

And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

The Eagles will gather where the carcases are. The book of Revelations tells us that their dead bodies or carcases shall lie in the streets of Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. It means that, the Eagles will gather in the Anglo-American-Babylonish-Romish city where our Lord was crucified, because this is where the carcases are located. Please note that the Eagles are the leaders of the Anglo-American-Babylonish-Romish Empire now ruling our world.

The main reason why Jesus uttered this is right there in the chapter!

His followers were worried about later generation of Christians who will put faith in their writings but finds it difficult to IDENTIFY those serving as the Apostles during the end time! Matthew 24:23-28

Jesus made his friends to understand that during the end time, it will be really difficult for honest hearted people to IDENTIFY his group due to so many false religious groups claiming Christians! Matthew 7:21-23

So how can interested observers RECOGNIZE his group?

So who are the EAGLES and what is the BODY?

Eagles see from far what other creatures can't see, this means these are individuals who are able to see where their food is.

If the US House of Reps impeaches president Trump next week, we will have to wait for a US Senate trial in January, crossing into another generation of the sun. But all things must be concluded within this generation of the sun which ends on 21st December. Just to show you how important this date is, the UN voted against the movement of the Israeli capital from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on 21st December 2017

So all things must be concluded before 21st December 2019 with just enough time for the president to blow his trump.
