4 me with tinubu's lates progress in liberatn d yorubas frm d hands of PDP and his growing support also of dat his party,ACN, i wud give it 2 him. But think about dis,apart frm being president 3 times,wot has baba done 4 d yoruba nation apart frm pickn fights wit othr yoruba chieftains,even wit tinubu n also not killing d much respected chief bola ige?

Awolowo was a different man, He was not about making money for himself. Or own an oil company. he was not about protecting some people business empire.  Awolowo was about the Yorubas people.

Most people who called themself follower of awolowo. are just doing  it to make money.


If when you are in leadership, your life never change the people lifes. Then how can you compare yourself to awolowo.

Look when people describe awolowo online, they call him tribalist. When people describe Awolowo, the first word they would say about him is tribalist. Obasanjo and Tinubu are not seen as tribalist but are seen as pro nigeria and pro nationalist.  they both fall in the same shoe as bankole.

ACN is not about Tinubu. And people have to get it. There are other people inthat party and it is an insult to the other in that party . Chief Akande is there and the head of the party.

And while Obasanjo is not the PDP. He only has one vote in the PDP.

To find anyone who can compare with Awolowo that person would have touch the lifes of whole of Yorubas and fight for the Yorubas people , no matter the state. None of the two have touch the lifes of whole of Yoruba people.   You have to separate businessmen and Yoruba leadership. It is two different thing.

Why do you think we have launch online war. It is because we are not ready to leave the future of the Yoruba people into the hands of Businessmen who call themself Yoruba leaders. We are not ready to mortgage the future of the next generation of Yoruba people for cheap oil block or contract from state and federal govt.

We are not waiting to be lead by any man, we are fighting for our right.  We do not need the nigeria media to define who is a Yoruba leader based on the egunje they have collected from politician. We have taken full charge of our future and anyman who is against the yoruba people best interest, would have himself to blame.

What Yorubas need is vision and how we can bring back the Yorubaland economy. It is not about anybody . People who dont fight for Yoruba people , who do not want the Yorubas to have a country because of thier own selfish interest can not claim they are the next awolowo.

Awolowo vision was clear about a Yoruba state. To fill the shoe of awolowo the vision and passion for the Yoruba people must be so great, that people call you a tribalist.

It is a shame that It is us abroad that have to fight for the right of the Yorubas, while there are people in nigeria. It is a big shame. That people would allow the scam call the 6 zone to continue  or the way state allocation is going without any single person  question this.  Then what define a Yoruba leader. Is it a title or praise base on egunje given to the Nigeria media .

It is really a shame, that the people of Ibadan are made to suffer the way they are still suffering.

Neither of them. Tinubu would of course love the mantle, but he is more the security man at the gate, not the head of the household. The head of the household is currently unoccupied, as no one is yet worthy to fill Awo's place. . .

This is not a medium 4 comparison. Awo may be a better selfless leader,but there r people who hav done enuf 2 say they hav d ambition to be lyk him. Our political setting 2day is different. look at those school again and look at this picture, who do you think own this , do you think a 27 years had millions of  dollars to start an oil company. It was to the back and suffering of the Yoruba and suffering of young Yoruba children who had to sit on the floor. And that was why that school look that way.
