The speaker just said that she will not be sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate until she sees what the Senate intends to do before sending it.

The president can't get his acquittal at the Senate without them getting the articles of impeachment to commence a trial.

Impeachment does not mean he will be removed from office. I watched it live; it was interesting to see the points presented by both sides.
