ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
To jettison the facts that the present political office holders rigged themselves into power is to play on the gallery. Many thanks to the judiciary that have been living up to the standard now, gone are the days when justices was sold, bravo to the Bar and Benches, its glaring now that judiciary is the hope of common man, yet that doesn’t to criticized those who still believe in selling justice among the judges but the tempo is minimal.
we will all agree that 2007 general election is the most ever conduct election we have in this country, all were characterized with rigging, the electioneering process was bad done, no thanks to the Election body (INEC) who commune with some sadist to stole another man’s mandate, little wonder we have slow pace of development where the rigging was perfectly done (Ekiti, Ondo, Osun Edo) as the resources were judiciously used to battle in the Law court.
Enough is enough, we cannot allow this people to continue like this, Greatest Youth, we need to stop this unrepentant sadist to stop offer us at the altar of selfishness.
ENOUGH OF ROUND PEG IN A SQUARE HOLE
some of us have repeatedly pointed that the present National Assembly is politically, morally and psychologically not molded for changes required in our polity, or how, for goodness sake can we explain this, FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI)bill has been on Senate floor for a couple of years, yet nothing could be done, what we heard was passage of a well- garnished bills, constitutional amendment, good intention is not enough, the political climate must be made conducive for people centered development, ENOUGH OF IMPUNITY, ENOUGH OF SADIST WHO CANNOT MANAGE THEIR HOME AFFAIRS.
ENOUGH OF INSECURITY
there is no security, there are several cases abounding nationwide, such as Kidnapping, Boko-Haram, religious sects and Jos mayhem, yet government find nothing to salvage the menace, the verbal recklessness statement of Walter Rugbere (Commissioner of Police, AKwa Ibom State) on security has show no doubt, constitutes a sad commentary on the intellect of many of the police officers in whose hands we entrust our safety, he said “ the victims has no one to blame but themselves, they (journalist) has the effrontery to ply the road he described as dangerous” one stand to question why a certain road has being described as dangerous if we have a stable security, as the Political Philosopher A.C. Grayling put it “the security of the public is certain a high duty of government, but it not the highest one, the highest duty is the protection of individual liberties”
ENOUGH OF RIGGING
“now is the accepted time, our salvation is more nearer than before” (Book of books) GREATEST YOUTH, it is time we wake up to our duty, “if we truly hope to transformed, it is time we turn the page” (Barrack Obama) Electoral reforms alone cannot take us to El dorado, we need to infuse into it some popular content ONE MAN ONE VOTE “lies in our hands our destiny, either we mars it or make it” Karl Max GREATEST NIGERIAN STUDENTS, if we fail to do this now, definitely some other people will effect change in their own way and we will have no moral justification to cry foul be they military or anarchist, there must be an end to all this selfish rule, future damaging.
it is time to fight for the passage of FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI) bill, WE NEED REFORMS IN OUR EDUCATION, ENOUGH OF RIGGING, ENOUGH OF POOR INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT, ENOUGH OF BALLOT SNATCHING AND STOLEN OF MANDATE, ENOUGH OF POOR BUDGET IMPLEMENTATION, ENOUGH OF POOR AND BAD LEADERSHIP
TOGETHER WE CAN RE-BUILD OUR FALLING WALL MAKING IT AN ABODE OF EL DORADO
