All we can infer with Good interpretations from this passage on onan. is that God was displeased with onan for spilling his seed for wicked and selfish reasons. we can't say God is also angry if we spill seed for Good reasons. Which passage in the bible gives you that interpretation.
If you have sex for wicked or selfish reasons, God is displeased but if you have sex for Good reasons (now you're married and she's your wife) God is not angry.
The reason behind the act (selfishness, wickedness, not loving ur neighbor as yourself, taking pleasure at the expense of another) is condemned over and over in the scriptures. but the act itself is not once again mentioned. So we aught to know what God was really angry against
