The newly sworn in of Atiba Local Government in Oyo, Oyo state Hon.
Ibrahim Sulaimon Akinkunmi has gave his unquestionable commitment and contributions for Governor Seyi Makinde towards bringing modern government into Oyo town .

Hon. Sulaimon while addressing newsmen after the swearing-in
ceremony, which took place at the executive chamber, government secretariat, Ibadan on Monday morning assured people of Atiba that, without inconveniencing people, he will do his best to improve on the internally generated revenue of Atiba local government so as to implement developmental projects which will enable the people to enjoys a pure democratic government.

” it is a pity, the last administration had bastardized the state local government administrations, for complete 8 years, it was family business, no physical development in area councils, but with Governor Makinde, we are set to bring the needed developments, Security, Healthcare, Primary Education, Youths and Women empowerment as part of our cardinal points, all are priority “.

” Governor Makinde task us to join him in the State Government to implement roadmap to Accelerating Development of Oyo State, with other Sixty-Seven Caretaker Chairpersons we will contribute our own meaningful quota to ensure that we move Oyo State forwards ” he added.

The Hon. Chairman attested to the
supremacy of Iku Baba yeye, Alafin of Oyo, said, it is important to make use of the old monarch experience
in local government administration of Atiba in Oyo town.
