You are no soldier. You do not even know what it means to be a soldier. Do you think waking up to your 9 to 5 every day means you are a soldier? Do you think walking the streets daily as you hustle means you are a soldier?

Have you felt the cold hard feel of steel on your head?
Have you heard bullets whistle around your head as you walked or ran?
Have you witnessed your colleague whom you just spoke with minutes ago get blown up?
Have you helped hold a soldier whose leg was shot off or blown off by a grenade or RPG?
Have you carried several dead colleagues on your back on different occasions back to base simply because the unwritten code states that you should not leave your colleague behind dead of alive.
You think your job is risky? A days job in the battle field as a soldier is riskier than Your job of 20yrs

Has your job caused you to suffer PTSD after you retired?
Do you lay awake still hearing the sound of gunshot, cries from your fallen comrades for help? explosions going off? can your job give you these kickbacks?

Young man behave yourself. ignorance is no excuse for foolish talk

I will do more than that if I'll get paid,
Nigeria is a useless country, 99% of Nigerians are not patriotic citizens, including the soldiers! People join the military because there is no other job, they are not there to server Nigeria with their hearts because they know Nigeria doesn't worth it, these soldiers are just like civil servants, most of them are illiterates and touts.
After their retirement they will go and look for security work like gate man work as usual or watch-night.

They are not protecting me, they are doing their paid job just like I'm doing mine, Nigeria is a zoo. The Federal government has been releasing thousands of captured boko haram members and even employing them into the military.
This is like saying ''the Nigerian government is working for my good''

So USA with its 2m strong military means that those who joined did so because there is no job? Are you sure you are normal?

Many join out of patriotism and in fact majority join out of patriotism and not for lack of jobs

Your heart is a zoo.

This is a very heartless comment.

So they get paid to die? Is any amount worth your life? Can i offer you money so you can go and die? Will you accept it?

Your Niger delta addition is just nonsense and this makes me wonder if you are even 18 yrs old

We are talking of Nigerian army not US army,

We don't hear of US army running away from their bases, abandoning their military duty then run away, this can only happen in a Zoo.
Nigerian military was not designed to fight external war, they colonial masters created them to checkmate their colonies,
With one create of beer I can arrange up to 3 soldiers, take them to go and beat or arrest any ordinary Nigerian citizen I want, that's what Nigerian soldiers are good at or body guard.
Can that happen in the US?
Nigerian soldiers are just future gate-men/security men after retirement, they will going around claiming old soldier while looking for whom to give them kai kai to drink.
NIGERIAN ARMY IS PLAYING GAME WITH BOKO HARAM, BOTH OF THEM ARE THE SAME.
Ghanaians even have better army,

Another dramatic video out of the NE, troops were pinned down by HMG fire then you can hear them scream the "terrorist gunner has dropped" "The gunner don drop", they then urge their colleagues to fire RPG at the technical, eventually they gather moral and push forward with one shouting “We’ll catch them by hand!"

ISWAP fighters were on the run with our soldiers aggressively going after them with a hail of gun fire.

If you have never lifted a rifle in your life or do not have a single bone of patriotism in your body, never ever speak ill of these boys. They die daily in their hearts so you can live. They run through bullets so you can run though shopping malls free.

Respect the Nigerian Soldier as we defeat Terror

There is no Christian or Muslim in the army. They are one unit and fight together like brothers. Ethnicity does not exist on the battle front. Everyone is everyones keeper. Eat together, sleep together, fight together for one nation Nigeria
Where was your respect for the Nigerian army under Jonathan?

Didn't you along with the northern nutjobs disrespected them over and over again.

Overnight patriots.

I find it disturbing that a lot of ex service men in Nigeria end up as gate-men or security men after retirement. Then the dismissed ones end up as armed robbers. I think the govt needs to do something about their retirement package so they will be comfortable after retirement.

Well, thank God for the soldiers bravery. However, I wouldnt have run after a retreating enemy just the way the soldiers are doing knowing fully well that I might be running into an ambush.

Do the soldiers ever been taught about tactical retreating just to draw ur enemy into your own line?

All the videos I have seen of the Nigerian Army fighting BH shows a clear lack of tactical awareness. Maybe it's me but honestly they seem to throw caution to the winds, behave irrationally and there seems to be no leader on the battle front. Is this because of a lack of proper training or due to the Nigerian factor where unqualified people are put in positions because they are just connected?

Yeah I know it's a guerrilla warfare they are facing but there are better methods than running through a battle line in open air without a formation or strategy. Imagine the guy was even shouting watch before you shoot someone. I don't how there won't be lots of friendly fires In their battles. The last video I saw one Soldier who was in charge of the regiment was commanding them to use hands to park guns like fufu. He couldn't even use basic geography to describe his location to his incoming guys who he was radioing.

As for the op. Good work they are doing. I wish them lots of strengths and safety whilst fighting for the peace of the nation.
