I have been a Christian all my life, 28 years old male. Recently i got posted to the North east to serve (NYSC), Now I am drawn to the Islam religion, they way they pray, and are Close to God.

I want to convert. I am in Borno state presently, how do one covert, I don't even have access to the Koran except the english Version on my phone. I am also a leader in the church here in maiduguri, but my heart has left and I don't have peace anymore.

How do I begin This Journey.

Just for your willingness to embrace the path to salvation, and free your soul from eternal perdition in hell fire, he came calling at the Prophet of Islam, and the religion of Allah as if he is anything significant. Brother, pls think very well, study Islam with an open and objective mind. Ask questions where it is not clear or you are confused. By the will of Allah, you receive satisfactory and convincing clarifications. This is with a view that you have studied christianity for long. Therefore, you can also engage your faculty of reasoning to compare and contrast the two. Don't let the enemies of Islam confuse you and tie down your soul on a path to eternal destructions. However, you have to be quick about it, because tomorrow might be too late.

Do not join Islam my brother. It is not good for your soul. Mohammed, the prophet of allah, used to secretly sleep with his maid, mary the coptic girl, and got caught by his wife Hafsa and he apologized and promised never to do it again (quran 66:1). After a while he continued sleeping with her and allah encouraged him to continue and to break his oath to Hafusatu, the daughter of Omar ibn kathab. Is that the man you want to follow?

Who is Allah to you?
From your post it's clear your agenda is born out of hate and not rational reasoning or objective criticism. Unless you mean Allah isn't the same God you call(little knowledge of your own religion) then your opinion on this matter is not to be given a second thought.
For your information, if your God which means Allah in Arabic translation can be wrongly quoted by you, what is your purpose in life?

Now talking about the Quran, how will you explain the verse that talked about Muhammad shamelessly taking over the wife of his adopted son Zaid and Muhammad was claiming that Allah told him that when Zaid was no longer needing Zainab, they married her to Muhammad?

"And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, Keep your wife and fear Allah, while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished."
