Fresh airstrike in Baghdad terminates 6 Iraqi militia leaders...

A fresh airstrike, targeting high-profile members of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias, has been reported.

The PMF members were travelling in a three-car convoy north of Baghdad, when the strike occurred, killing six persons, multiple reports said.

Three other persons were critically injured. No one has claimed responsibility for the strike.

But Reuters reported that the Iraqi State TV said the latest strike was also done by the US.

The United States claimed responsibility for the air strike on Friday that killed Iranian military leader, General Qassem Soleimani and the deputy leader of PMF.

One unconfirmed report said Qais Khazali, one of the people the US named as responsible for storming its Embassy in Baghdad, has been killed in the new Baghdad airstrike

If there will ever be a 3rd world war, Iran can never be the cause. Any war in the region will not be different from all the wars we've witnessed ala Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon etc

While Iran is a tougher nut to crack, they don't possess the might to withstand a showdown against the USA or Israel. Even Saudi will look the other way. The only support they'll get will be from rag-tag militias in the war torn countries of the middle east.

Russia sends spy ships intermittently off American coast (which American coastal guards fully observe and keep an eye on) and not attack ships.

In the middle east on the other hand, America has set up coastal bases from where attacks are launched and can be launched. Russian spy ships can't launch attacks from USA waters.
