You see, when a country treats terrorists with kid gloves, they (terrorists) become so emboldened, so powerful; and deploy the best tactics at their disposal to wreck havoc both at the citizens and state alike. Boko Haram is a stubborn virus that started like a harmless injury, but is now a dangerous, unstoppable and perpetual anti-friendly disease. it will take a miracle to defeat boko haram for good. A lot of enemies of the state, who are beneficiaries will frustrate the efforts of the state. 1. The State must forgo tribalism and deal thoroughly with those sabotaging the efforts 2. Equip the troops with top notch gears and gadgets, coupled with state of the art weaponry. 3. Create a troop which instill fear in the enemies. 4. Use intel to get one step ahead of the enemies. 5. Appoint a Chief of Army Staff who is competent and anti tribal to combat this monster. www.securitymattersafrica.com |

The same people celebrated when Boko Haram came into being. They supported a presidential candidate who was against dealing with Boko Haram. They kept Boko Haram supplied with fuel and grain. They support politicians and traditional rulers who believe in the same dogma as BH so what are they running from? 2 Likes |

Something does not add up, The Nigerian government says it will gradually pull out troops from the North-East which is where Boko Haram is based, Now Chad who has been dealing with Boko Haram decisively also pulling out. Does this mean that peace has been archived in those areas where these pull outs are happing? If that is the case, then why are the residents fleeing to Maiduguri? Nigerian Government should tell the world truth about Boko Haram. |
