Ned Nwoko Receives Top Officers Of Defence Headquarters Ahead Of Unsung Heroes Concert, Antarctica Malaria Expedition

Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has received top ranking officers of the Defence Headquarters ahead of extensive collaborations to foster the efficient implementation of the recently flagged off Malaria Eradication Project in Nigeria and also to envelop partnerships in anticipation of the forthcoming Unsung Heroes Concert, organized by the Nigeria Defence Headquarters.

During the visit which was led by Rear Admiral OH Ngalabak, the Chief of Defence Civil Military Corporation and Rear Admiral N.J Bala , they both confirmed that the challenges of malaria related illness for personnel's was quite disturbing as they promised full support and commitments to the Malaria Eradication Project by Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation.

However the meeting also recorded deliberations on the forthcoming Tribute To Our Heroes(The Unsung Heroes Concert) to honour military personnel's who sacrificed their lives to ensure that Nigeria is bigger and greater today. The event is holding on the 11th of January, at the National Stadium and will witness resounding performance from 30 Musicians, 10 Comedian's, 4MCs and 3Disc Jockey.

Prince Ned was however elated and impressed by the actions and proactive steps taken by Nigeria Defence in addressing supportive partnership towards achieving fruition in the malaria eradication project for Africa. The high-leveled Nigeria Military delegation was received by Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko in the company of his wife's mother Rita Daniels, Amb. John Fashanu and popular Billionaire crooner, lady Teni Makanaki.

I appreciate the fact a billionaire is thinking of eradicating malaria but this seems like a grandstanding with no real solution in sight. Nigerians must not be taking for fools or is it the the elites are grossly ignorant on how to create development. I mean what is the strategy put in place to eradicate malaria? Do you eradicate malaria by singing. Let me suggest things to consider here so you can bring it to your principal.

1. Ned Nwoko should build and fund a research institute for the malaria eradication. It should endowed money to the institute on a yearly basis or one time 10 year endowment to support research on malaria treatment, prevention and vaccines

2. He can endow university centers in Nigeria to create homemade vaccines and drugs for malaria

3. He can build Hospital for malaria treatment in states and cities where malaria treatment are available for free

4. As a senator, he must know the remote cause of malaria is stagnant water from potholes, bad road, drainage and dirty environment. He must launch a campaign to fight those menace and push executive to create a better living environment for the populace.

for the unsung heroes, it does not mean song must be played for them. "UNSUNG" means not valued or respected or cared for. One day music will not change the family of dead military. He must push for veteran welfare in government. Create housing loan for military family, engage them with social worker or mental care psychologists etc. Why are things so different in our country. I am beginning to fear our leaders lack knowledge and strategy to turn the country around.
