Few days after Lagos residents and other users of the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) enjoyed free rides for Christmas, the management of the transport services has announced increment in bus fares which will commence soon.

According to the Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Ltd, Mr Fola Tinubu, who are handlers of the blue BRT buses, he hinted that a there is possibility of an increment to the bus fares.

He noted that the current fares charged passengers by the management for using the bus services were grossly inadequate if the firm was to provide better services for the people of Lagos.
