On This Day in 1970, that is 11/01/1970, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu fled into exile. Before leaving, he announced that he was leaving Biafra to seek an end to the Nigerian civil war. 12 days later, on 23 Jan, the govt of Houphouët-Boigny granted him Asylum in Cote d' ivoire. Somebody told me that if Igbos fail to get Biafra, then hausa/Fulani, Yoruba, Niger-Deltans, Ojukwu and Biafran fighters all wasted 3 million Igbo souls for nothing. 4 Likes |

firo08: Yes, RIP great Ojukwu. Biafrans love Ojukwu, yet when he contested as Nigeria's President in 2003, Obasanjo defeated Ojukwu in all the Five South-East and Six South-South States. What a great love Biafrans have for a man who sacrificed over three million of them to the Yoruba gods of Ogun, Sango, Obatala and Esu Odara. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ojukwu was a coward who caused the death of nearly 5 million IPOB goats and about 500 thousand innocent people from the South South, the coward tried to force the people of the South South into Biafra because of his greed for our oil and waterways, I am glad that Ojukwu is rotting in hell and motor park touts and illiterate spare parts traders and now sleeping with his prostitute wife. May Ojukwu continue to burn 🔥 in hell and may touts continue to sleep with Bianca. Amen. |
