Abule Egba Pipeline Explosion: Sanwo-Olu Condolence Message To Families, Victims by soloenzo(m): 7:55pm On Jan 20, 2020 |
Following Sunday night's inferno resulting from the Pipeline explosion the sadly rocked the people of Ile Ekpo-Abule Egba area of Lagos which led to the death of five(5) persons, outright destruction of properties worth billions, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is in London for the UK-African Investment summit has Monday, sent his condolence message to all the families of the deceased and victims of the fire incident in Lagos. Babajide Sanwo-Olu said; "My thoughts and prayers are with the families & businesses affected in the unfortunate incident at Abule Egba." "We are thankful for the brave members of LASEMA and our fire service that swung into action working all night to reduce the impact. Pipeline Vandals will be shown no mercy." "We must work together to ensure man made incidents like Abule Egba are avoided." "Security and information gathering along volatile corridors will increase and a stronger synergy with communities must happen. We all have a role to play." The Governor who is expected back to Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday this week along with President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to pay condolence visits to the families of the deceased and the site of the fire incident to ascertain what next to do. He urge all Lagosians and Nigerians to play their roles towards the safety and general security of lives and properties across their various communities as Nigeria belongs to all. https://mobile.twitter.com/jidesanwoolu/status/1219154387152572416 3 Likes 1 Share

After the whole speech, nothing will be put in place to avoid future reoccurence. The lives of Nigerians are a joke to the government. Pathetic! May the souls of the departed RIP and may the spirit of justice haunt the lives of those whose carelessness robbed them of their precious lives. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Yes the people in Government are Greedy we all know that while voting for them... But we the citizens are far worse... Am sure people usually see those useless smugglers and vandals around those pipeline.... But rather than calling the police they will keep mute.. But When there's Fire outbreak we either put the blame on God or Devil or the Government 14 Likes 1 Share |

The evil in the heart of men is unbelievable, despite how "over-religious" we are in this country, most people do not care about the lives of their fellow men. Is the desire to get rich quick worth the lives of innocents? RIP to the dead. 2 Likes |

Shibaraba: Why? He should've been on the next flight back... There's nothing he's doing in London that someone else can't do. BSO might be a good (even great) Governor someday in the future... But right now (8 months into his tenure), he's done little other than take pics and issue statements. RIP to the deceased.. > 2 Likes |
