Operation Lafiya Dole: Unanswered Questions? by donkingzton01(m): 11:05am On Jan 22, 2020
The Boko haram insurgency has been going on in the North east for over 15years and seems to have no end in sight. Thousands have lost their lives, many have been kidnapped while several more are lanquishing in IDP camps scattered across the North.
The operation Lafiya Dole launched by the military to tackle the menace of the insurgency has been a fatal failure with boko haram still claiming many casualties both on the army and on innocent civilians almost on a daily basis. Not a single week passes without the insurgents kidnapping people, launching a bombing attack or ambushing the military.
So I've been wondering what exactly is the military doing in the North east, as in what is their strategy or plan for winning this war? Are they just there to set up camp and guide such camps while waiting for the terrorists to strike so as to push them back ( with heavy losses) and thereafter retreat back into their shells and watch the cycle play out again? Should the military be the ones on the defensive or on the offensive?
These terrorists have bases and command centres throughout the north east. Can't our military and intelligence agencies trace and identify where these bases are located so that the fight will be taken directly to those places. All these kidnapped people are being kept somewhere within the boundaries of this country. They make phone calls, they release videos in the internet. Can't these information be analyzed by our so called intelligence agencies and used to pinpoint their locations. Honestly what is NIA, DSS and DMI doing with all the funds they are being allocated.
We have been hearing for so long that the insurgents are hiding in sambisa forest and and in mountains in the lake Chad area, what is stopping our military from launching a massive offensive on such areas? What is our airforce doing, shouldn't they be leading air bombing raids on these positions? Don't we have attack helicopters, fighter jets and air squads in this country for Gods sake?
The Nigerian government needs to wake up. It's time to face this fight head on. The excuse that the terrorists are using hostages as human shield is so silly cause if you leave them they will only keep kidnapping more people for use as shield in the future.
And finally does boko haram really have more funds and manpower than the Nigerian military? There are so many damn questions, someone should please explain to me cause ayam not understanding.

Just too many questions waiting for quick answers. But , will the lords o f the nation bothers to answer us? Why are the failed service chiefs not replaced or removed? Why has no Boho haram member and their sponsors be punished , instead many of them are being secretly and semi openly integrated to the society?
In fact , why the high level of cover up and deception, especially on the part of the government?
Why!why!! and why!!..,...

It's sad, Nigeria is gone for good and the Dogs have taken over and the international community is watching, not doing anything to get the present crop of failed leaders out of the way.
