This is an emergency situation that ideally should alarm the leaders and the elite of any society. But for the north's elite, there is not much appreciation of the danger yet. Minds are still configured to look for danger hundreds of kilometers away in the east, the pro Biafra agitators whose ultimate goal is to, 'prevent the flow of oil wealth.' This, for them, matters most.
