Have you read the OP, Bagudu approached the govts of Jersey and US for a plea bargain in 2003 in order to escape jail for being Abacha's laundry man. Nigeria were called and told to take $163m so Bagudu can be extradited to Nigeria to face his charges and in return, Nigeria will not "disturb" the rest of the trust anymore.

OBJ's blame can lie in not pressing charges against Bagudu when he arrived Nigeria. But what Buhari is doing is far worse.

Now, US and Jersey are saying there's a certain sum from the Bagudu heist they just laid their hands on. They are asking Nigeria to come and claim it which in effect nails Bagudu (again!!) as the criminal. By this, it means he did not disclose fully the loots with him in 2003 and renders the plea bargain invalid. What does Buhari govt say? They refer to that same 2003 deal as reason they can't interfere but want the US and Jersey to send the money to them anyway while they give Bagudu $100m so as not to sue them for "disturbing" his trust against 2003 deal!!

Same Bagudu is a governor of APC and chairman of Progressives Governors Forum. Now tell me why we will sit on OBJ when the bigger evil is staring us in the face.

Way back between 1996/1998 Buhari was the chairman of Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) under the late General.

That fund was there ATM machine for embezzlement.
