The Kaduna State House of Assembly has elected the former deputy speaker, Honourable Yusuf Tanimu Zailani as the new speaker of the House. Zailani was elected one hour after the resignation of the 37-year-old former speaker, Aminu Abdullahi Shagali. In Shagali’s resignation letter sited by Oak TV, he wrote to the Clerk of the House, stating that he was resigning on ‘personal grounds’. Zailani represents Igabi Constituency.
