1.The Italian was fine when he flew in. As a result the basic screening systems ...checking his temperature...won't have caught him.

Note that checking the temperature is what all countries use as a screening system for travellers

2.When he fell sick the day after...he went to hospital...where based on his travel history, he was isolated and tested for COVID -19...found to be positive, and then treated, and quarantined.

The system works. Infact what we are doing...isolating the patient, and tracing and quarantining contacts...is best practice.

Are we ready to fight this thing? Nope. If the virus dear enter all those slums in Lagos, Enugu or Abia just know say na plague the thing don turn to.

No country is testing at the airport for corona virus.
They are all screening for symptoms which Nigeria is also doing eg- checking people's temperature at the airports.
Every country including US, UK have asked for self quarantine when you come back from travel and if you suspect you have the virus stay at home. You can contact the appropriate authority and they will come to your home to take blood tests and confirm it.
If people don't self quarantine, the virus will spread quicker.

Ebola was brought under control by APC led Lagos state administration. There was quick response by the competent leadership of Lagos state then.
Please, do not politicize the corona virus. The current administration hasn't taken any wrong step so far regarding this virus and have given the right advice so far. It has nothing to do with trying to compete with previous governments.
Nigeria used to have competent epidemiologists and disease control experts. We probably still do, though majority of the younger ones may have left the country.

That is the fault of those circulating fake news. Perhaps the social media bill is not so bad afterall.
Always verify/check the source of your news before believing.
If it is from the ministry of health, or any other appropriate agency, you can believe it.

It was predicted that 85% of world population might be infected before it will die down naturally.
US said it will go away during summer but some countries in the hotter region have reported cases of the virus.

only 3 centers can test Corrona Virus in Nigeria and they are in Benin lagos and Abuja, they can handle few cases at a time, and the next available ones are in Senegal and SouthAfrica, so like the guy above said it is not feasible

infact during ebola crisis we had no facility to test we had to send the samples to Senegal and South Africa, but thanks to the new FG and donations from USAID we now have 3 which wouldn't even be enough taking into consideration how many people jet into Nigeria daily
