So that in the near future when Buhari declares an unconditional amnestice to all BH members (Shekau inclusive), the US Govt's bounty will still be in force.

Amnesty or no amnesty, Shekau and his repentant BH members will still be wanted for acts of terrorism.

If the Nigerian Govt refuses to hand him over for trial at the ICJ, Nigeria will face full sanctions and the US will do all it can to ensure that Shekau is either taken out or captured.

If the US are really serious about capturing Shekau, they do not need to place bounty on him.

When Gen Haftar was abandoned by Gadaffi when captured by US troops, Haftar shared intelligent on how to get Gadaffi, easy as ABC.

How about Souleimani of Iran?

USA should tell us when they are ready to help us kill Shekau cos he is of no use to this crust

If shekau is still alive, I can bet he won't survive till November. Trump must include his death in his speech during campaign.

The US did a smart move. They knew the fulani/Abba Kyari led regime is a boko haram supporting regime hence their counter move to put a bounty on Shekau.
Only a terrorist regime grants amnesty to islamist terrorist.

Re: Why The US Declared A Bounty On Shekau by sexylassie2(f): 8:48am On Mar 05, 2020
The reason is simple, there is Internal crisis going on between boko haram and boko haram split group(ISWAP) headed by boko haram founder son, both group have attacked each other and killed each other,

The present bounty on shakau can lure one of the agitated fighter or leader of the other group to give up shakau, even some aggrieved members and ex members of boko haram can also be enticed to give up their leader.

From history, giving up leaders of a group to the authorities has always been an inside job or done by a rival group who wants to be the only group in the game

Jesus was betrayed by an insider, shakau will also be betrayed by an insider.

But for real, the 7 million bounty on shakua head as been in place since 2013, so it not news

There is nothing he can do about it,he too should be prepared to answer for crime against humanity when he leaves power, how can he be treating terrorist, murderers with kids gloves, why precious lives are lost and on top wants to compensate them with the taxpayers money, the same people that are being traumatized
