Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was reported by the BBC to have left Awe in Nassarawa State on his way to Lagos State en-route Abuja.

Sanusi was said to have led Friday prayers in Awe where he preached about accepting destiny and believing in Allah’s choice before leaving for Abuja from where he was expected to fly to Lagos.
