So, he needs Senate to tell him to do the needful. What a President!

Honestly the Federal Goverment acts as if it does not exist. Every country that I know with virus cases has been addressed by their President's multiple times first on the pandemic itself, then on governance and then on the economic fallout.

It is highly disappointing that our goverment is so overwhelmed by this matter.

Nigeria isn't as half developed as the US is, with some of the best medical and health workers and state of the art Health facilities yet President Trump addressed the nation on the issue.
While it's true that everyone has to practice good hygiene and follow NCDC guidelines, do you know how reassuring the address of the president can be in times like this?

I can understand you though, perhaps you are all too well aware he has nothing to say, doesn't even understand what the issue is.

You are sadly mistaken, the best healthcare system and Trump did not stop the rising COVID-19 cases and deaths In America and Trump's incompetence and lack of care did not help either.

Trump's speech was chaotic, aimless, uninspiring and did nothing but breed confusion that exposed lack of preparedness, ignorance and institutional dysfunction.

Nigeria was ready and well prepared, but America wasn't. When we were testing and obtaining results in less than 4 hours, but in America, it takes over 24 hours and a lot of headache.

Americans didn't even have test kits because they rejected test kits offered by WHO and they did not have any of their own. Rejecting the kits and not having any was dumb, irresponsible and incompetent, this led to needless deaths virus cases.

We have 5 cases and we don't have a single death in Nigeria, but they now have more than 100 deaths, 5,894 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

You need medical professionals in charge to address you and give you the vital info that you need to protect yourself and your family, they president can not do that for you.

God Bless Nigeria.

Poll: Americans Don't Trust What They're Hearing From Trump On Coronavirus

Americans have little trust in the information they are hearing from President Trump about the novel coronavirus, and their confidence in the federal government's response to it is declining sharply, according to a new NPR

Just 46% of Americans now say the federal government is doing enough to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, down from 61% in February.

Ignorant Nigerians and unpatriotic Igbos are always acting as if they know Americans more than Americans.

Americans are saying Trump and their government failed them and are not up to task, but ignorant Igbos think they know more than Americas all because their hatred for Nigeria.

Unpatriotic cowards.

Exclusive poll: Public trusts health agencies more than Trump

Why it matters: The results suggest that health officials have a high degree of credibility in this crisis — and that Trump is on safer ground when he closes ranks with them, as he did in his unusually candid remarks about the outbreak at Monday's press conference.

Americans want to hear from public health officials and the professionals in charge for information and how to stay safe, protect themselves and their families, but ignorant Nigerians want to hear from the president and politicians.

Nchi a na echetara ita aru!

That weak bones is living with an outdated brain and I pity Nigerians for being led by him. Must he wait to be reminded of necessary actions to take before he does?
He was reminded to reduce fuel price after the drastic fall of oil price worldwide.
He was also reminded to close borders against immigrants from covid19 highly infected countries.
Now, another one!!
I watched trumps civid19 press conference yesterday and I highly commended him for that step he took.

God Bless Nigeria.

Forget USA....
Buhari should address nigeria...
Coronavirus is a global menace n nigeria isn't immune to the possible fallout....
Some of these goes beyond the purview of healthcare professionals......

Nigeria will most likely enter recession as a result of weak oil demand.....
What's the FG plan to mitigate the effect.....

Should nigeria close the border entirely or effect partial closure. The recent open border isnt doing anyone any good......

Should we ban open/public gathering for now. If yes, has FG met with stakeholders to get their support.....

What happen to national events scheduled for these period, should it be postponed....

Schools n campuses are still open....is that a wise decision or they should be closed...

All the above need executive action n someone in the presidency should come out n address the nation.....
The national assembly do not have the power to effect anything....
If buhari cannot talk, osinbajo should be sent...

A sensible president ought to calm his people down and dial down their fear with words of encouragement, that's what leaders do ,it will mean more coming from him than a chairman or doctor.

No, you people brought up Trump addressing Americans to compare with PMB and after showing you how America and Trump made their situation worse, not all of a sudden it's not about Americans. See your life.

What exactly do you want to hear from the President?

You need the president to tell you how to protect your self and your family?

Politicians are not healthcare professionals, we have the NCDC staffed with knowledgeable professionals available and ready to give you all the infor that you need.

Stop playing to the gallery and start doing what's right for you and your family.
