Benin City was shutdown today as it's residents observed the sit at home order as directed by the state government. Most shops and stores were under lock and key except for a few others selling food, drugs, water as well as other life dependent commodities.

A visit to the ever busy Kings square (Ring Road), New Benin, Forestry road, Akpakpava, Sapele road, Mission road, Sokponba road, Lagos street and Airport road e t.c showed that business activities were crippled as residents stayed back home.

It could be recalled that the Edo State Government (EDSG) yesterday declared that a sit at home order will take effect from today 27th March 2020 in a bit to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

I commend people of edo state for this. although i won't stop making this point that the federal government of Nigeria is extremely irresponsible. how lackadaisical they were about closing our borders was something i can't stop thinking about. kyari left our borders open and porous till bush meat catch hunter. now we are emphasising about people sitting at home. do you think it's that simple in Nigeria? most Nigerians feed from hand to mouth i.e if you don't hustle in a particular day, you may likely not eat. federal government is currently clueless the are waiting for Otedola to dash them money. bunch of confused idiots. house of reps members are receiving cars But no ventilators in Nigeria. with all the Money allocated to health care in Nigeria, aso villa clinic is not even fit enough. now they can't go abroad, I pray they all perish. finally most Nigerians have BVN can't they send tokens to them? the answer is no. you know why? because heartless demons who will later perish in hell are ruling Nigeria.

Yes, but when they ask you Nigerians to pay the amount of money in taxes needed to pay to clean the city, you people will complain that they want to chop your money.

British cities are very clean. The average Brit pays council taxes of at least 120 pounds...54,900 naira monthly...which pays for cleaning facilities.

Edo state has a budget of 470million dollars for this year. Pennsylvania, USA is spending 78 billion dollars this year. And you expect Pennsylvania and Canada level cleanliness from 470million dollars.??

To use an unrelated example. Nigeria spent 900bn naira for the Nigeria Police last year. The New York Police Department had a budget five times that.
