The reasons people keep dying from viruses is because our leaders allow personal interests to becloud their judgements.

Take for instance Corona virus. This is not the first time this has happened. Yet why don't we learn from past experiences?

China trades on wild life farming and these viruses are transmitted from wild life to man. SARS, a respiratory ailment originated from same China.

As at now, there are agitations for China to permanently shut down and declare illegal their wild life market, which they have ignored.

This means that they support the spread of Corona virus and encourage its spread.
The only way to force them to ban it permanently is to SHUT borders against them. This will make them take life serious and replan their diet.

China eats frog, snakes, crocodile, dogs, bats and other weird creatures. These creatures bring diseases and kill other humans.

Yes, governments allowed the spread by not shutting borders on time which further worsened a situation that could be avoided.
During oaths, Political leaders swear never to allow personal interests to becloud their judgements. This being the case, why would some leaders not shut the border because some of their family members were outside the country?

Anyway, like I said, more situations like this virus would happen if serious actions are not taken against Chinese wild life market NOW.

Personal opinion? Who doesn't know that Corona virus was first reported at Wuhan, China?

You need to leave nairaland for a second and do your own research to verify.

Globalization is the real problem we are facing worldwide.... China is benefitting immensely from this crises they created.

There was a time we knew little or nothing about their way of life but Chinese restaurants on all our streets serving us dishes from the shrine of their gods.


If there is policy to ban them from other countries, trust me I lead the struggle.
